A Bit Too Freaky

Today's not just Friday. It's Friday the 13th. I was hoping to offer up something truly scary but the best I can do is this Edmonton jersey from Jamie Robertson. He created it before the Oilers started wearing their orange third in 2015. It's not that bad of a design — just maybe a bit to freaky for the very traditional Oilers.

A Better Toronto

The Maple Leafs debuted new uniforms last year but Jamie Robertson thinks they could've been a bit more true to the past.

Alt Avs

As we endure our first season without alternate uniforms for a decade, I imagine we'll see a ton of third jersey concepts flooding in over the next 12 months. Let's start with this Avalanche overhaul from Jamie Robertson. It's a beaut, isn't it?

Retro Toronto

Jamie Robertson was inspired to create a third jersey for the Maple Leafs inspired by a number of elements from the club's history. He writes:

10 total arm stripes for each decade of team's existence
13 total stripes for each Stanley Cup
3 waist stripes nod to St. pat's uniforms worn from 1925 to 1927
"T" in crest nod to Toronto Blueshirts, first Toronto-based team to win the Stanley Cup
3 stripes on socks, dark version of pair worn from 1934 to 1938

Flashy Knights

Over the weekend we got a look at a less-flashy Golden Knights concept. Today, Jamie Robertson brings back the flash. Check out those starry sleeve stripes.
