A Winter in the Capital

We're still waiting to hear who the Capitals will host for the 2015 Winter Classic, but Quentin Robb is thinking about a 2011 rematch. What would you think of seeing these two uniforms in action again?

Update

March 9: Quentin has written in clarify details about his design.

I forgot to mention that this isn't a concept based on the NHL, it's actually for a fantasy hockey league I am in, called the HSHSFHL, where the league itself (a simulator league) holds a Winter Classic matchup each year determined by the GMs themselves in a league-vote for which teams should be featured.

For more details, read Quentin's extended explanation in the comments below.

Turn Ahead the Freak Out II

In 1998, the MLB thought throwback uniforms were getting stale so they decided to spice things up with their Turn Ahead the Clock promotion. They introduced what they thought were futuristic style uniforms. Needless to say, it didn't work out. But it still inspired David Parkinson to put together this Phoenix Coyotes concept. Happy Freak Out Friday!

Back to Black in Calgary

I've always thought the Calgary Flames should have a black third jersey — the third jersey idea was created to showcase a third color, right? They had one for a while in the early 2000s that worked, but it's time to bring it back. Bastian Schmülling gives us an idea of what one could look like — on a fresh jersey template.

Green Water Fowl

The other day on Twitter I marveled at the first green on green NHL action since 2007. But the Wild and Stars don't have to be the only teams wearing green. It would look great on the Ducks. We've seen it in many concepts before but there's something about this one by Steven Grant that I really like. Think it would work?

Redoing the Blues

There's a rumor out there that has the St. Louis Blues changing their uniforms — and possibly logo — next season. With that in mind, here's a sharp look from Kris Lutes, including both home and road alternate jerseys. Do you have a preference? Would you like to see all of them? None of them?
