Another Flawless Fix for Ottawa

Over the years, I'm sure I've posted many concepts that elegantly demonstrate how easy it would be to raise the Ottawa Senators among the elite teams in terms of jersey design. What they have now is, frankly, terrible. It's just bad. And it's been around too long.

Justin Wiltron is the latest to show us one of the great possibilities that needs to become a reality. Or maybe I'm overhyping it. What's your take?

Jokerit

Sundays are for international teams. Today, Rudolf Vychovaly shares his revised take on the Jokerit club of Helsinki, Finland. The 47-year-old franchise will become a member of the KHL in the fall. Here's a look at their current uniform. There are more photos on Facebook.

Ragin' Cajun Pride

This week's College Saturday concept takes us to the deep south. David Parkinson put together a three-jersey set for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Not surprisingly, hockey is merely a club sport down there. But at least they have a team.

Check out their Facebook page for more photos. As you can see, they currently wear the old "Sens" third jersey template. But they also seem to have a custom red alternate.

Cowboy Freak Out

It's a Freak Out Friday, so let's have a Dallas Cowboys hockey jersey from Ryan Broda.

Original Six Showdown, Part 3

I don't usually like to feature the same artist on back-to-back days, but we need to wrap up Nick Burton's Throwback Thursday miniseries this morning. The final installment features 2014's Winter Classic opponents from Toronto and Detroit.
