Brick and Sand

The Coyotes are a popular team for concept artists these days and Dylan Nowak provides another solid entry. Forget black. Brick and sand are really all this team needs.

Ladies' Day

Female pro hockey players will take the ice this fall for the inaugural season of the National Women's Hockey League — or the NWHL. The league recently held a jersey design contest for its four teams, but there's no doubt they would've been better off just hiring Lexi Dever to handle them all. While the logos weren't much to work with, her take on the NWHL is absolutely striking!

Retro Boston Brown

The Winter Classic logos the Bruins will use next season were recently unveiled. We're still waiting on jerseys, but I think brown is still a possibility. Fingers crossed! Seems like Jamie Robertson has the same idea. While this won't be the logo, I could see the rest of it working out pretty well. How about you?

Perspective

Happy Freak Out Friday! A black and white Islanders third jersey doesn't sound so bad anymore, does it? While I like Bryan Dyck's use of the lighthouse logo from the '90s, I'm not sure why he kept the blue but swapped the orange for grey.

Black and white has to be better than this, right? Just some perspective.

Clean Calgary

I'm generally not a fan of script wordmarks on hockey sweater crests, so the Flames' third jersey isn't my favorite. But this revision by Kevin Dion is interesting. Still has text, but it's a cool logo.
