NHLToL: 2017 Semifinals
/Just four logos remain now in the 2017 NHL Tournament of Logos. Your decisions are next to impossible. We had a minor upset in my mind as the Flames overtook the Wild. The stage is set for a final that could be all red, all Original Six, all Canadian, all American — or none of those things! Happy voting!
These polls should only be up for a few days but I leave for vacation tomorrow. So the posting of the final poll will be entirely dependent on when/if I can find wi-fi. Thank you in advance for your patience.
UPDATE (7/4): After a day and a half of voting, I'm disappointed to report that there has been some stuffing of the ballot box in this round. I won't name names, but the offenders haven't even bothered to cover their tracks either, which actually makes it easier for me to separate the real votes from the fake.
It's pretty pathetic, really. These are people who don't think our tournament is meaningful enough to warrant seeing real results — but think it is meaningful enough to make sure their team wins. Just pitiful.
So I'm disabling the option to view the results. The numbers you would see have been somewhat tainted. On the back end, however, I'm able to get a clearer picture of what's happening. I can do the math and drop out the falsified votes. When the polls close, I'll announce the winners advancing to the final.
Thanks again to those of you who are enjoying this. I feel bad for those who aren't. Hope it was worth it.
