Thrashers Wear New Sweater
/Despite looking dreadful, the Atlanta Thrashers debuted their new third jersey tonight to the tune of a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. They pushed alternate sweaters above the .500 mark to 7-6 with the win. Have a look.

Earlier today, the Pittsburgh Penguins released a full schedule of the 11 games where they plan to wear their new third sweater. It's on the team's web site. The alternate jersey makes its debut on Saturday night when the Pens take on the Sabres.
I'll be sure to add pictures to their TJC gallery as well as to the Vancouver Canucks' and Montreal Canadiens.' The Nucks will debut their third jersey and the Habs are throwing back to 1945 for Centennial Jersey Night.
In other sweater-related news, no Blackhawk will ever again wear the No. 3 jersey. The Chicago Blackhawks honored Pierre Pilote and Keith Magnuson by retiring their sweater on Wednesday night.
I would've written about this sooner but I've been quite busy.
