WHL's Kootenay Ice unveil new logo

The WHL's Kootenay Ice will have a fierce new logo for the 2017-18 season. The new design was officially revealed by the club's new owners on Monday. The team said new uniforms will come "at a later date."

The franchise was founded in 1996 as the Edmonton Ice before relocating to Cranbrook, B.C. in 1998. They used their original logo for more than 20 years. But it was never very exciting so the change is certainly for the best.

Actually looks more like a beer logo now that I think about it.

What do you think of the new look of the Kootenay Ice?
