Ducks plan jersey tributes for 25th anniversary

Some of the forgotten gems of the Ducks' uniform history

As part of their 25th anniversary celebration, the Anaheim Ducks announced they will wear every one of their past jerseys during the 2018-19 season. But before you get too excited, there's a catch. These aren't game jerseys. They're pre-game warm-up jerseys.

Still, it's always a treat getting to see some classic Mighty Ducks threads back on the ice again. The team is planning nine jersey tribute nights during the 2018-19 season. And of course, it all starts on opening night, Oct. 8, when the Ducks will warm up in their original 1993 home jersey before facing the Red Wings. They will wear their 25th anniversary third jersey for the game that night.
