The Islanders in the 21st Century

I like the New York Islanders' current uniforms the way they are. But that logo really needs an update. It needed an update way back in 1995, which is what prompted our friend, the infamous fisherman.

The problem 20 years ago is that they went too far. The concept doesn't need to change. Just the execution. Tony Berg has executed a perfect update to an aging logo here. Could be just the thing for a new hockey team in Brooklyn. Who's with me?

0513: Boston Brown

Tony Berg had a neat Minnesota concept last week. Now he's treating us to the Boston Bruins. It's a cool look but the first thing that stands out to me are the Penguins-style sleeves on the black jersey. But apart from that, I love the brown third. What's your take?

0506: The State of Hockey

Those who don't like non-matching jersey sets probably won't care much for Tony Berg's Minnesota Wild concept. But I think it's really sharp. I don't love the sublimated third jersey, but then third jerseys should be for experimenting. Where do you stand?
