Ducks officially debut orange third jersey
/Friday flew by without a blog mention of the fact that the Anaheim Ducks — at long last — finally and officially revealed their new orange third jersey.
Even after multiple leaks over the summer the organization refused to confirm the design until the team skated out for last week's game agains the Colorado Avalanche.
Maybe it's just me but the lack of fanfare around a jersey that Mighty Ducks fans are falling all over themselves for seems oddly intentional. I don't understand why. Talk about easy marketing.
In any case, the jersey is here and it's awesome. Apologies for the delay in getting a write-up done. But in fairness there were no surprises here.
