Yesterday's concept and today's go together nicely — though there's no place more fitting for this use of teal than a Freak Out Friday. Lucas Daitchman is having some fun with trends of the '90s but I can't say the same for my eyes.

The current Maple Leafs uniforms will be retired after this week as the team introduces a new look for their 100th anniversary season. But they'll also have a series of throwbacks throughout the year. David Kerr images some of them in today's concept.
The striping on this Penguins concept from John Elbertson might remind you of the Bruins and therefore be better placed on a Freak Out Friday — but it's an interesting look nonetheless. And it's fitting given the news that Pittsburgh will be sporting classic gold during their upcoming run.
