NY Freak Out

Freak Out Friday is here again. It's both the end of a long work week and an opportunity to see an unusual hockey concept. Jeremy Roney tackles the New York Islanders with that all too familiar chrome logo from the 2014 Stadium Series.

Quick Fix For the Coyotes

Last Friday, the Arizona Coyotes unveiled their new uniforms. But Jeremy Roney wasn't quite satisfied with them. So he offers this solution for your consideration.

Philly Phauxback

I'd love to be featuring a Lightning concept today to kick off the Stanley Cup Final, but surprisingly I have none! Instead, we'll have to settle for this Flyers set by Jeremy Roney — a home/road set inspired by their current third jersey.

By the way, if you have a wild Tampa Bay concept to share, send it along and you might see it up this Freak Out Friday, which happens to coincide with my birthday.

What the Hawks Should Be Wearing on New Year's

I was really hoping to see the Chicago Blackhawks go with a Winter Classic jersey that looked a little more like this. Obviously Jeremy Roney agrees. Would that have been too much to ask?

Houston Eagles

This week's custom team comes from Jeremy Roney, who writes:

Based the team in Houston as a potential NHL expansion [franchise]. Pulled the colors and logo idea from Texas and their patriotism. The specialty jersey is a fauxback honoring the Houston Aeros of the WHA and their championships with the Howe family.

Do you think this would this be a good look for Houston's eventual return to pro hockey?
