0392: Battle of New York

Last week, we got a look at a Winter Classic starring the clubs from Pennsylvania. This week, Joseph Loretz provides a New York-based game between the Rangers and Islanders. And like any good Winter Classic, there's some unnecessary vintage white in there for good measure.

0391: Freaky Florida Cats

This Freak Out Friday is brought to you by Antonio Calisto. I don't really have the words for it.

0390: Calgary Back in Black

I must admit this Flames jersey is an older concept from Nick Burton. He sent it in almost a year ago — so it doesn't really fit in with his current design aesthetic — and I'm only now getting to it. What does that tell you about the backlog? Anyway, I'm posting it because I think it's a neat look — for a black jersey.

Also, Happy Pi Day!

0389: Starring the Weagle

The extremely prolific Bastian Schmülling has a cool set for the Washington Capitals today. Every time I see a concept with the Weagle on it, I keep wondering why this team hasn't already done a third jersey with it. It's a great logo. And unlike their primary mark — it's an actual logo.

0388: A Gold Star

I've received a lot of Dallas Stars concepts since the team announced their intentions to launch a rebrand next season, but I'm trying to spread them out a bit here. Today, we get a look at another one from Bryan Dyck. Unfortunately, it's a little too dull for my tastes. But I do like the slanted collegiate-style numbers. I don't think anyone has done that since the Tampa Bay Lightning during their second season in 1993-94 — coincidentally the Stars' first in Dallas.
