Next Up in New Jersey

What will the next set of New Jersey Devils sweaters look like? We'll find out this summer but in the meantime, Brandon Holmes tries his hand at a couple. Which do you prefer?

Fire

Petter Furå is back with another brilliant design. This time he's tackling the Calgary Flames in a way I've never seen it done before. In his email, he writes:

I know that some people consider Calgary Flames to be one of the untouchables, at least their logo. Well, it may be a classic but I still think it's kind of a boring logo.
So, here's my take on the Flames. I think they have a jersey set that is way too busy. My version is a jersey set that brings back the classic feel yet with a darker red to create more contrast.
I also made a brand new logo idea. My thought is that it resembles that of a firebird while it at the same time is made up of the letters C (the lower part) and F (both red parts).

T-Birds Retake

To design their uniforms last summer, the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds hired a guy who got his start right here on the Icethetics Concepts page. It's a great look but Lucas Daitchman wanted to try out a different idea.

One Last All-Star Fix

NHL All-Star Weekend is official here and Adam Del Monte is here with one last look at what we could've seen on the ice had the league asked him to tackle the jerseys.

Thrashed

These jerseys are a little out there, but if the Atlanta Thrashers ever came back — after the first flying pig is born, of course — they wouldn't be half bad. Another interesting one from Ryan Christensen.
