All-Retro All-Stars

The 2015 NHL All-Star Game in Columbus is just over two weeks away yet we still have not gotten official confirmation on the jersey designs. While we continue to wait, check out this concept from D'Arcy Murphy. He envisions the old East-vs-West format along with a more traditional sweater aesthetic — a far cry from what we're likely to see on Jan. 25.

Pirate Penguins

It's impossible to go very long without seeing a great new concept from Nick Burton. It's practically inevitable that the Penguins will go full time with their new '80s-era third jersey. When that happens, they could reach back into pre-Pens Pittsburgh hockey history for alternate inspiration. That could be epic.

Do it, Ducks!

Now that the Anaheim Ducks have properly nailed their home and road uniforms, it's time to get creative with a new third jersey. Colin May proposes orange with some classic elements.

Flying the Flag

The old Colorado Rockies wore a uniform with elements inspired by the state flag of Colorado. So what if they Avalanche modeled theirs after the flag of the city of Denver? It fits surprisingly well on a jersey, as seen in this design from newcomer James Harter.

Keystone Stadium Series

The first Outdoor Saturday of 2015 takes us to the Keystone State where David Parkinson has brewed up an NHL Stadium Series game in 2016 at Beaver Stadium between the Penguins and Flyers — without a white jersey in sight. Not that I'm advocating for more outdoor games for these two teams, but this would be a good looking game!
