Minimalist Flames
/Jared LeBlanc thinks the Calgary Flames are in desperate need of a new look. I'm not sure I agree but I was intrigued by what he came up with.
Like Tampa did in their rebrand, I decided to stick with the same general idea but reduce it to a single colour. I decided to return to the '80s colour scheme when it came to the jerseys however.
I'd be curious to see what more teams looked like if they went the Lightning route.
Monarchs Reign
/Congratulations to the Manchester Monarchs on their first — and last — Calder Cup championship! The club becomes the Ontario Reign in the AHL's Pacific Division next season so when they attempt to repeat, it'll be under a new name.
With that in mind, I wanted to showcase a pretty sharp Reign concept by Jake Miller. The team has a new logo and uniforms that mimic their NHL parent club in Los Angeles, but wouldn't this look great on the ice in the fall?
