Centennial Classic

NHL commish Gary Bettman may not be ready to commit to Toronto as host of the next Winter Classic, but a number of Icethetics concept artists already are. Nick Burton proposes a couple of jerseys for the Leafs and a potential opponent from NYC.

By the way, there's more where this came from. I envision the next several Outdoor Saturdays will focus on Toronto. So prepare yourself.

Toronto Turning Point

It's fair to say that a big focus of the new year will be the Toronto Maple Leafs who are preparing to mark a century in existence with new logos and uniforms. So on a day normally reserved for something a little offbeat, let's start it with something simple and stylish from Petter Furå.

Alternate Jackets

We're sending off 2015 the same way we started it — with a Columbus concept. Avi Stein has a couple of third jersey options to share with us along with his take on the club's primary sweaters.

By the way, since I know some readers can get obsessed with the names used on the jerseys, I should point out that Avi actually submitted this set back in August 2011.

Alternate Devils

After one Lou spent decades keeping the Devils from experimenting with their jerseys, another Lou is here to help them do just that. Goodbye Lou Lamoriello, hello Louis Di Paolo! Who wouldn't want to see the Devils try out a black third jersey?

Alternate Jets

I'm still bewildered that five years into their resurrection, the Winnipeg Jets still haven't introduced a third jersey. But I'll keep sharing them here until they do. Today, Ben Macdonald takes a stab with this retro-inspired design.
