Nobody likes the Ottawa Senators' uniforms. Let's just be honest about that. They use an ugly, generic template and have no regard whatsoever for the club's own history — recent, ancient or otherwise. So Matt Marczel puts forth this solution. I approve. Is there anyone who doesn't?
Matt McElroy has been all over the IceHL Project lately. He's had five logos adopted by the league — and now leads all designers in that area — and submitted plenty of jersey designs. So why not let him take over the Concepts page for a day as well? Here we have his take on a Ducks jersey involving the return of eggplant and that classic duck mask. I still think it's a bit dark with all that black. What about you?
I never liked the black Reebok Edge jerseys the Flyers started wearing in 2007. But I almost always like anything Nick Burton submits. So this was tricky. A black Flyers jersey from Nick. Somehow, though, I like this one. It's all in the striping, of course. But it's a sharp look. Third jersey, anyone?
Those who don't like non-matching jersey sets probably won't care much for Tony Berg's Minnesota Wild concept. But I think it's really sharp. I don't love the sublimated third jersey, but then third jerseys should be for experimenting. Where do you stand?
