Stadium Classics

So far, the NHL has only revealed one game for the 2015 Stadium Series. Doesn't really make a "series," does it? So Christian Legault imagines at least one other game between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. And there's not a white jersey in sight.

Of course given the traditional nature of these Original Six teams, the designs might seem somewhat sacrilege. Maybe it'd be better to see these two meet up in a future Winter Classic.

Land of the North

I'm not sure the Wild are necessarily in need of new uniforms, but maybe matching home and roads wouldn't be a bad idea. What do you think of this set from Christian Legault?

Spaghetti Skate Freak Out

I think Vancouver's "spaghetti skate" logo from the 1980s would satisfy Freak Out Friday criteria all on its own. But Christian Legault puts a new spin on it today by giving it modern Canucks colors and a simplified design. What do you think? Too freaky?

Nordiques Revival, Part 1

Today and tomorrow we're considering what the Quebec Nordiques might look like if they were still around. Here, Christian Legault takes a stab at redesigning the whole kit.

He writes:

The logo is based on the provincial bird: the snowy owl. The shape under it is the shape of a fort found in Quebec called La Citadelle and the alternate logo is the Château Frontenac with three fleur de lys.

Check back tomorrow for a different look at the Nords.

A few weeks ago, we got a glimpse at what the NHL is planning for the 2015 All-Star Game. Christian Legault has a simple question for you: Classic or modern? Pick your poison.
