Monarchs Reign

Congratulations to the Manchester Monarchs on their first — and last — Calder Cup championship! The club becomes the Ontario Reign in the AHL's Pacific Division next season so when they attempt to repeat, it'll be under a new name.

With that in mind, I wanted to showcase a pretty sharp Reign concept by Jake Miller. The team has a new logo and uniforms that mimic their NHL parent club in Los Angeles, but wouldn't this look great on the ice in the fall?

All Out Avalanche

The Avalanche host their first outdoor game next season and have some other uniform changes planned. Here's what Mark Lilley has planned if he had his way.

Flannel Freak Out

Should Colin May's flannel third jersey find its way to Vancouver in the future? Or should it be permanently consigned to the Freak Out Friday zone?

In the Desert

Despite all the legal trouble going down in the desert, odds are the Coyotes will continue to play in Arizona for the foreseeable future. With that in might, Brian Brideau makes his prediction for the team's new uniforms — which will be officially unveiled next Friday.

25 in the Shark Tank

Next season the Sharks will celebrate their 25th anniversary in San Jose. Nate Fein is hoping they consider some retro sweaters for the occasion. Sure would be nice.
