0603: Caps and Whalers

After we learned the Capitals will host the 2015 NHL Winter Classic, Bryan Dyck started thinking about who their opponent should be. How about the Carolina Hurricanes... as the Hartford Whalers? But as much as I loved Washington's Blue and Bronze Age, I'm not sure I can see them in anything other than the classic red throwback. Plus, it would make sense up against Whaler green. What's your take on this Winter Classic proposal?

0602: Red Canucks Freak Out

Red Week wraps up with this Canucks set from Rob Coulter. He wants to see Vancouver revert back to red, black and yellow — but he likes the modern Johnny Canuck logos. Thoughts?

By the way, I hope you guys noticed that during Red Week I made a concerted effort to feature some new designers. Five of the artists featured in the last six days are first-timers. Two weeks ago I had a theme week that featured a bunch of our prolific regulars, so I figured now would be a good time to squeeze in some fresh blood. Keep all the great concepts coming!

0601: Red Devils

Red Week continues with a new jersey for New Jersey. All right, so it's not a red sweater but it features a lot of red. Jan Hirsch is considering a black alternate uniform for the Devils. What do you think? Should the Devils stay out of the third jersey game or would a black one work for them?

0600: Red Panthers

Our landmark 600th consecutive day of concept art features Caleb Fuller and his crimson re-imagining of the Florida Panthers as part of Red Week. This jersey has a very similar aesthetic to the Blackhawks one posted yesterday. Who wears it better? Florida or Chicago?

0599: Red Blackhawks

The Blackhawks already wear red, but not like this. Wade Herrmann shares his cool twist on the original Hawks' logo from the 1920s.
