It's Vegas Week on the Concepts page and today it's newcomer Andy Yvars with his take on the new Golden Knights club — though I think he's jumping the gun on the third jersey.
Last week, to much fanfare, the Vegas Golden Knights officially announced their name and logo to the world. Their jerseys, however, remain a secret. Fertile ground, then, for the Concepts page. So the artwork came rolling in. While it's still fresh in everyone's mind, I'm dedicating this entire week's worth of concept art to the new franchise.
We begin with a sharp set from the prolific Lucas Daitchman, who envisions a sash-style design for the Knights. The red trim is a thing of beauty.
Next year, the AHL's Binghamton Senators will move to Belleville, Ontario. Ryan Christensen thinks an unused Ottawa logo would make a great mark for the relocated club. And I can't say I disagree. Not in the least.
Last week, Will Sinnott gave us an east coast Stadium Series game at Camden Yards. This week, he takes us west to Angel Stadium for an outdoor game between the Ducks and Sharks.
