It's Thursday, so let's do a throwback. Bastian Schmülling is back with this mix of old an new for the Winnipeg Jets. What do you think? A smart third jersey when the day comes?

Last week kicked off our WNHL Wednesdays miniseries from Nick Burton. He's creating custom teams for a fictitious Women's National Hockey League in six North American cities. He began with the Montreal Royals and today moves on to the Boston Irish.
If yesterday's teasers are to be trusted, the San Jose Sharks will unveil their new home and road jerseys today! So while we wait, a couple of concept artists have produced their take on what we might expect based on the three teaser images the Sharks released.
First up is Justin Wiltron, who is probably very close. I'm not so sure the white will extend all the way down, but other than that, he could be on the money. It's a nice, simplified look that would work well for the Sharks.
Brian Brideau has essentially the same thing, except for — I think — a more accurate waist striping pattern. But as for the sleeve stripes, I think it was clear from the first teaser they aren't diagonal. Then again, it's hard to say for certain.
Looking forward to seeing what we actually get — and how close our concept artists got!
Last week Laurent Elbaz brought his take on the Canadiens. Today, another sharp redesign — this time for a team that hasn't existed for a lot of years, the Colorado Rockies. That may be the best shade of blue ever to appear on this page.
Every week I say Seattle's future NHL team can't be named the Metropolitans. And every week I post a Metropolitans concept. We're four posts into Seattle Sundays, and they've all been great, they just have the wrong name at the top. This week, Bart Wentink has a bit of a Christmas theme going with his chosen shades of red and green. But that third... you know whatever we name that team, we will end up wearing that jersey against the Vancouver Millionaires one day.
